Roll Call produces a mini-documentary highlighting the history of the Congressional Black Caucus on its 40th anniversary

Washington, D.C.--Roll Call, the newspaper dedicated to covering Capitol Hill, today unveiled the "CBC at 40" multimedia project, a two part mini-documentary series chronicling the history and growth of the Congressional Black Caucus. This year, the CBC celebrates its 40th year in Congress.

The full mini-documentary is available here: www.rollcall.com/multimedia

Roll Call has long understood the pivotal role that Caucuses play in influencing Congress," said Scott Montgomery, editor of Roll Call. "We wanted to take an in-depth look at the Congressional Black Caucus, at their rise within Congress to become a powerful, geographically diverse group of Members. This mini-documentary honors the rich history of the CBC, while exploring where the Caucus might be in another 40 years."

The video series is written and narrated by Emily Heil and produced by Andrew Satter, it includes interviews with past and present CBC members.
