Each week when Congress is in session, This Week in Healthcare provides analysis of policy decisions that could affect key segments of the healthcare industry. It combines selected articles from CQ Roll Call’s premier health policy publication, CQ HealthBeat, with analysis from subject-matter experts in the Healthcare & Science business of Thomson Reuters.

CQ Roll Call has been a leading news source on the health policy reform effort, with in-depth coverage of Capitol Hill and analysis of the key players at pivotal points in the law's passage. The Thomson Reuters healthcare unit has decades of experience providing information, business intelligence and data analytics to thousands of hospitals as well as large employers, insurers, and state and federal agencies.

“We’re excited to work with our partners at CQ Roll Call to deliver a compelling blend of news and analysis,” said Howard Goller, Healthcare & Science editor at the Thomson Reuters Professional NewsCenter. “Our goal is to show healthcare leaders what’s coming from Washington and what it means to them.”

“We’re pleased to be working with Thomson Reuters to help healthcare industry stakeholders better understand what the new health reform law means to them — and what Congress and the federal agencies plan to do next,” said Mike Mills, editorial director and senior vice president of CQ Roll Call. “We're glad to be creating such a valuable partnership that combines CQ HealthBeat’s news with expert analysis from Thomson Reuters.”
