CQ-Roll Call’s Leilani Brown Honored at NOBEL Women’s Conference With Shining Star Award
Washington, D.C. Brown has received the National Shining Star Award from the NOBEL Women's Organization (National Organization of Black Elected Legislative Women). The award was presented at the Shining Star Awards Gala on June 25 in Anchorage, Alaska. Brown also served as the keynote speaker at the conference luncheon. Her speech, entitled Obamamania: A Marketing Lesson, offered attendees an alternative perspective on the historic 2008 presidential campaign.
