CQ StateTrack Launches Regulatory Monitoring Service
Online monitoring service tracks regulatory changes from state agencies and register publications
Washington, D.C. (January 11, 2010) — CQ-Roll Call Group today announced the launch of CQ StateTrack’s new regulatory monitoring service. This new service provides users with the ability to identify and monitor rule-making activities in single states or across multiple states.
“We are very excited about our new regulatory monitoring service,” said Ron Hogan, vice president and founder, CQ StateTrack. “This new service enables our subscribers to keep current on proposed and adopted regulations using the same interactive map-based display, search engine and alerting functionality they have come to rely on from CQ StateTrack’s legislative service.”
In addition, the customizable reports and custom e-mail alerts that are valuable features of CQ StateTrack’s legislative service are also available in the new regulations service. As a result, users receive accurate, real-time intelligence on the state regulatory developments that affect their interests.
The new regulations monitoring service from CQ StateTrack provides:
- State regulations searches that provide the ability to filter results using keywords, publication date ranges, agencies and action types. In addition, when searching within a state, users can narrow results by specific agencies or register publications.
- Customizable profiles that enable users to manage regulatory intelligence by issue, with custom fields for key information. Users can elect to specify priority level (i.e., high, medium, low) and add customized notes.
- Daily custom e-mail alerts that link to the state sites, where the original documents can be accessed—including charts, graphs and other images. Users also can elect to receive updates as soon as the information is available or at a specified time.
CQ StateTrack’s regulations monitoring service will be available on Jan. 11, 2010. To request a free demonstration of the service, go to: www.cq.com/StateRegs, or call (800) 432-2250, ext. 599.
CQ StateTrack’s legislative tracking service boasts a powerful search engine and map-based display that connects its users with the status and text of legislation in all 50 states. The service also offers customized bill reports that can be tailored to users’ specific interests. These reports are automatically updated as bills are introduced and move through the legislative process.
CQ StateTrack was launched in March 2009, and is the next generation of TrendTRACK, a premier source for Web-based legislative information in all 50 states.
